05 - How sessions work

Once you start working in Research Studio all your interactions will automatically be saved in a working session.

These are your interactions in the application. Therefore you can move around through the application without loosing any work.

When you logout and login again, that previous working session is automatically loaded again and you can continue where you left off.

For example -

1. You create a crosstab with some questions and custom settings. These will be stored in this working session

2. When you move to another project or tab

3. And come back again, your last settings will be shown to you again.

When you are happy with the interactions you can also save this.

Click on "Sessions" and select "Create new"

Give your session a name and description and click on "Submit"

Each session you save can be loaded again.

Click on "Sessions" and select "Load session"

Select the session you need and click on "Select"

If you want to delete a saved session, just click on the "X" and confirm you want to delete that session.

When you don't select a session at all, the current session is your default working session. And all your work is automatically saved.

You can also clear the session and start with a new fresh session.

Just click on "Session" and select "Clear".
