How to create a filtered question
Please note:A filtered question will be asked if a filter is TRUE. To create a filtered question this can easily be done using the following steps:
- Select the question you want to be filtered.
- Select the logic tab,
- Select the filter tab
- Click "Set filter"
- The filter builder will open (see below)
- Select question
- All previous questions are shown from the dropdown menu
- Select responses and add filter
- Select the categories that should be selected if the filter is to be TRUE
- Click the "Add filter"-button
- If the filter is only one logical expression, Select "Save"
- If the logical expression consists of more than one filter, select a new filter and add this to filter
- From the "combine" menu you may also select "AND" and "OR" between the filters (+-sign)
- Using Parenthesis you may create almost any Boolean expression.
- When finished with all selections, select “Save”
Advanced
- You may also add advanced options to the filter. In the "select responses and add filter" window you have the option to negate the filter (NOT)
- In advanced "Advanced" you have the following options:
- Has the question been
- asked
- Answered
- Not asked
- Not answered
- None of the selected categories
- All of the selected categories
- Number of answers ticked within the specified range of categories
